Amy Sinclair Roth has been dancing some form of bellydance since she was 15. After a break in which she attended grad school, she rejoined the dance world with renewed enthusiasm. In 2025, she achieved general skill and teacher training certifications in FatChance Bellydance style (FCBD, also known as American Tribal Style), and in recent years has pursued training in modern fusion as well as traditional raqs sharqi styles. Originally from Kansas, she works as a biochemist and lives with her two dogs in Boston. Her next dance endeavor is training in Salimpour Style, the foundation of modern American bellydance and FCBD style.
